

At the start of the game, the player is armed with only a pistol, but more powerful weapons, such as machine guns and shotguns, can be obtained as they progress. Cop was one of the better arcade shooters out there on PCs. Both this and Virtua Cop's PC port came out in 1996 so more could've been done if they had the means and desire to do so. It is often hard to distinguish between what people you can and can't shoot - especially in the distance - and when they pop up right in front of you, it's a huge pixelated mess.
